Privacy Policy Statement
The following is the Privacy Statement applying to personally identifiable information collected by Connection Depot through your registration for service or from use of the Connection Depot web sites. The protection of your personal information is important to the Connection Depot. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and accuracy of your personal information and to protecting such information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access and disclosure. This Privacy Statement describes how Connection Depot treats information received about you when you become a subscriber to the Connection Depot Internet Access Service, when you provide information to us, and when you use any of the Connection Depot services. When you subscribe to the Connection Depot service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age, and that you possess the legal right and ability to enter into the Connection Depot agreement. We will ask when we need information from you. All communication from us will be clearly identified and you will know it is from us. When you register for an account with Connection Depot, we will ask you for information that personally identifies you to us. Your personal information includes your name, email address, physical address, telephone number and credit card number. The payment information that you provide when you subscribe to our service, together with any other information you provide to us, and information regarding the manner in which you use our service and/or the Internet, will not be processed or disclosed by Connection Depot except as is required or allowed by applicable law or legal process.
Our primary goal in collecting your personal information is to operate the Connection Depot service and enhance your overall online experience. In order to do this, your personal information may be gathered, processed or used in the following instances: To service accounts, process, bill and collect payments pursuant to the Connection Depot procedure, and otherwise operate and deliver the services of Connection Depot; To support customer questions about your subscription, billing, or use of the Connection Depot service; To enforce any of the terms of the subscription to the services of Connection Depot; To alert you of new products, product upgrades, special offers and other information related to the Connection Depot service for internal marketing purposes; To send you information or special offerings about products or services that we believe may be of interest to you on behalf of select third parties, unless you specifically notify us not to do so.
Connection Depot may provide bulk information about our subscribers to reputable third parties, but this information will not include any of your personal information. The personal identity of particular subscribers will not be included. This information will be used to describe our services to partners, advertisers and other third parties in order to provide products or services that are part of the services offered to you by Connection Depot
When you obtain a Connection Depot Internet Access Account, you will be provided with a personal identification number.
Connection Depot will not sell, rent or lease your personal information to any third parties for use in advertising campaigns.
Connection Depot may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process served on Connection Depot; protect and defend the rights or property of Connection Depot or affiliated companies or the users of Connection Depot services; enforce the Terms of Use Agreement; and, to protect the personal safety of Connection Depot users and of the general public.
In order to protect the privacy of your personal information, Connection Depot maintains the subscriber account information in a secured database protected from unauthorized access. In addition, your personal information and stored credit card information is removed from certain online systems and stored offline.
Connection Depot encourages you to use caution when giving out any personal information about yourself, no matter how legitimate it may seem. Such information sent over the Internet will not be tracked or retrieved by Connection Depot.
If you do not wish to receive any special offers or communications from Connection Depot on behalf of selected companies, or directly from Connection Depot, notify us that this is your preference and we will take steps to assure that you do not receive items of this nature.
